It was beautiful.
Witness:
I did cry. Several times, but ultimately, it was a bit meh and I'm not quite sure why.
I have some ideas. He was very, very thin. His Scottish friend was a fuckwit. Her moles distracted me, and her fringe hanging at the side of her head was too post-modern.
I didn't get their connection. They seemed to jump from her being disinterested to a Grand Love.
Why?
How did she become his Muse?
It was lovely. It really was. And there were some beautiful moments. I liked her spunk, her character.
I think he was really just too skinny. And his friend was too much of a fuckwit.

I had similar thoughts, very pretty, exquisitely shot but I didn't get their connection nor could I warm to Fanny's character.
I got distracted about petty things too - like when she sat down and crossed her legs while doing her embroidery. Women of good breeding just didn't sit like that.
I noticed that too, AOF, when she crossed her legs. And there was one scene where one of the older women had short sleeves on her dress, which was a little jarring.
I loved it. In fact I saw it twice, taking my eldest with me the second time around. I thought Abbie Cornish was delightful and Brown was a delicious jealous friend.
A delicious jealous friend. He was, wasn't he? But. I don't know. There's just a but.
I can't be bothered thinking about it too much. It's too hot.
PS Leilani. Bed is excellent. Truly wonderful. Thanks for your help.
