the hangover hell that is ikea

what is worse than going to ikea on a sunday?

GOING TO IKEA ON A SUNDAY WITH A HANGOVER.

what is worse than going to ikea on a sunday with a hangover?

GOING THROUGH IKEA TWICE ON A SUNDAY WITH A HANGOVER.

i had to go back and get the fake peonie roses from the display vase - yep, lifted them out of the vase in the show room, grabbed the label/price thing too, then went all the way back through, lined up again with the million other people, and got them. 5 very pretty fake peonies for $20. usually the nice looking ones are almost $20 per stem, which is what has always put me off.

it was worth it, they look gorge.

hope you are all ok.

i'm never drinking again. what a stupid fucking night, i'm ashamed of myself.

I actually need something from Ikea. You couldn't run back there and go through it a third time - just for me - could you??

Did you at least stop for meatballs?? That's about my only excuse for going to Ikea nowadays, given my house is pretty much COMPLETELY furnished with their stuff.

m_m: meatballs no, soft serve 50 cent'er, yes. that's our ritual now and it's the only way to get the kids there without whinging.

Yeah, they were from Ikea. Good memory!

But there are three of them (two have been set up and filled with Muppets stuff).

Still, I need a fourth, ... so if you're heading back in that direction next Sunday, ...

What's worse than going to IKEA on a Sunday? Going to the only one in Malaysia, where there are 2 million people, the Malays (notoriously slow) are manning the cash registers and the cleaners don't clean the shit or the water off the toilet floors.

Actually, sounds like IKEA melbourne and IKEA KL are as bad as each other.

YUK! Mind you, I do like their stuff and it's reasonably priced and decent quality. My kitchen is from IKEA.
