melbourne taxi drivers and other stuff

i heard on the radio this morning that a young woman had thought she was being abducted by a taxi driver as he drove her around for two hours, not following her directions.

it turned out, he couldn't understand what she was saying.

i read in the paper that a model has been arrested in indonesia with two pills wrapped in a twist of paper. she said she didn't know what they were. that someone just gave them to her.
and she kept them? and she was going to maybe take them?

i shake my head and i boil the kettle.

and when is winter going to be OVER.

ps confession - i bought andrew morton's princess diana book on special at target. i think she and jemima are sisters. or were. what do you say?

anyone got any gossip? i'm bored.

The model will go to jail for 10 years. Then Harry M Miller will get her a movie deal about her life "Two Pills".

Well, they certainly had a Pakastani connection.

They may have been sisters - the upperclass English like to have secret siblings don't they?

I have no gossip about anyone but myself so I'm going to make some up NW style.

Steve Coogan and Courtney Love have had an affair and Courtney is now expecting a child.

Oh wait that is true (shudders)

gosh! I was attacked by burglers last night in my bed. Lucky I'd taken those ninja lessons because I fought them off by breaking their fingers and poking their eyes out.

Oh, and in other news. Sandra Sully and Jessica Rowe are having a secret affair.

(is this scurrilous enough for you)

LOL! That sort of happened to me once. "No no, the other left..."

Who is Steve Coogan?

Steve Coogan - he's hilarious!

He also starred with Jackie Chan in last year's Disney version of Around The World In 80 Days, although I suspect that it's not necessarily an example of his best work.

I haven't seen it, myself, though (so maybe it's brilliant), but his role wasn't meant to be second-fiddle to his assistant. Chan has the bigger profile, though.

Anyway, Knowing Me, Knowing You With Alan Partridge was great. I own the box-set and it's so dreadfully awful, it's actually fantastic!

Come on, surely if Jemima and Diana were related they would have been forced to marry somehow. That's how royalty works, you know.
