good on you # 1

to the man below who i saw the other day. you were driving a

holden calais, rtg 525 . you were pulled up at lights, i was behind you. there was a dog in the back of the wagon in front of you. the dog was looking at you, and you waved to it through the windscreen. twice.

isn't that nice?

I thought someone had sparked your ire and you were about to lash out at him!

But no, everyone's happy today. Lovely!

I do this kind of thing all the time (waving at animals, etc). I don't drive a Holden Calais, though.

But to answer your question: Absolutely! What a lovely man.

How nice to hear a story that begins
'to the man below who i saw the other day. you were driving a holden calais, rtg 525 . you were pulled up at lights, i was behind you'... and have it not be a road rage story.
Well done, MG. There is hope for the world after all!

Oh geez dogs are the best people!

I'd love to get my toddlers a dog but I'll wait until they're a bit bigger.

And I reckon people who are nice to your dog or your kid are worth thinking nice thoughts about!

And yes MG, the photo on my blog IS my son's heart.

:)

Perhaps there is scope for a new collaborative blog - random acts of kindness?

i think it's easy to get caught up in all the negativity. have to remind myself sometimes to talk about the good things. because they are there, everywhere we look. and we have to spread it around. i didn't see that movie pay it forward but heard about it. i think it's about something like this. the random acts of kindness.

I think your dog might be trying to out cute mine.

just don't suggest a cute-off darcy. i won the hair-off with dxxxx so i'd be wanting to preserve my track record, and there might be bows involved, tutus, etc.

Is it okay that I feel like vomiting now? (Or should I reserve that question for Ms Fits' Friday Q&A post?)

what's up bevis? why do you feel sick?

also, you know about the neighbours episode i was going to give you an unsatisfactory run down on? well our taping stuffed up and so i think we missed that one as well.

however, we are back on track and hunky dory with it. even though friday's tape didn't have the end of the show... which was annoying but these things happen.

You are a very talented girl. Located in Melbourne. Hence your name.

No worries about the episode recap, we worked out that Lou had figured Harold was up to no good as far as Paul was concerned, and that was all that mattered.

Tonight's episode was good; finally Harold woke up to himself and was at least intending to do the right thing as far as confessing to the police was concerned. Stupid Sky and Lou trying to talk him out of it. If it was anyone else, Harold would be bleating on and on about the person needing to face the music for their crimes / sins, so I was glad to see some actual morals returned to Harold (even if these realisations happened off-camera ... a somewhat curious development for a drama series - surely these would have been captivating viewing? Maybe not).

Bring on tomorrow's episode!!
